The only negative I discovered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. You can change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to take the mount off to wash it manually. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot passes will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and configure these advanced features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, track the life of batteries and maintenance on components. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops to allow voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.
